Sunday@4

An island resident through and through (he was born in Nanaimo, raised in Qualicum Beach and has lived in Nanoose since 2001), Stephen Watson attended the University of Reno-Nevada on a golf scholarship.  An MSc in community and regional land use planning from UBC followed. With over 28 years of service with BC Hydro, Stephen has worked in public affairs since 2000. In his spare time Stephen still loves golf and you may have seen he and his son, Jon Robbie on the course.

Join Stephen as he discusses where our power comes from, projects to keep the system safe & reliable, seismic risk, climate change (including the company’s response to such episodes as flooding and windstorms), conservation, electric vehicles, and meeting future load growth.
