Sunday@4: El Camino de Santiago
December 17, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

A beginners guide to the modern day pilgrimage in northern Spain by local resident, Jordan Ozero.
For over 1,100 years people have made their way to Santiago de Compostela in the northwest corner of Spain to pay their respects to the remains of St. James the Greater, Apostle of Jesus. The modern Pilgrim, however, has evolved and reasons for walking the Camino are now as varied as they have ever been. Aimed at people of every age and ability who are new to the idea of walking the Camino, this talk will cover a very brief history, traveling to, from and within Spain, daily life on the Camino, gear needed and the lessons and benefits you may enjoy from long-distance walking.
