Sunday@4: Your Brain on Joy
January 28 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
What creates joy? Why is uninhibited joy something we generally restrict to children? In the background of this anatomy of joy, we will hear the persistent question, “Can joy be induced?”
Explore these questions with Dr Jennifer Mullett through the research of neuroscientists and social scientists on the behaviours or thoughts that stimulate the brain for an experience of joy. Dr Mullett is a Community Psychologist, Director of the Centre for Healthy Communities Research and Adjunct Professor at both University of Victoria and Vancouver Island University.
Come ready to discuss your joyful experiences!
