Pam Bjornson
CHAIR
My husband Brian and I moved to Nanoose Bay from Ottawa in 2016, when I retired from the National Research Council of Canada after serving in several executive positions.
I have been involved in not-for-profit organizations since the beginning of my career, including leadership positions on local and provincial boards, and more recently on national and international bodies such as Research Data Canada and the WorldWideScience Alliance. I remain keenly interested in organizational development, particularly in the voluntary sector. We enjoy all aspects of West Coast life, especially cross-country skiing, brisk walks and kayaking – and feel very lucky to live in this wonderful place.
My involvement with NCS has already been very rewarding, and I look forward to working with our generous community to support our neighbours in Nanoose Bay.
